Scius Solutions has vast experience in developing effective education programmes to help you achieve your objectives. Our experience includes developing accredited training programmes for GPs, pharmacists and optometrists to branded training materials for delivery by sales staff.

GP education

Medical education initiatives, such as educational workshops and training programmes, increase disease awareness and understanding of your product.

Scius is an RACGP accredited QA&CPD provider. We have extensive experience in developing both Category 1 and Category 2 activities. Our experiences includes the development of:

  • Clinical audits (on-line, nurse facilitated and paper based) – 40 Category 1 points
  • Active learning modules - 40 Category 1 points
  • Interactive workshops - 2 points per hour (Category 2)
  • On-line education - 2 points per hour (Category 2)

Our programmes have been accredited by both the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine.

As an RACGP accredited provider we can use the notification system to get most QA&CPD activities accredited. At Scius, we will work with you to implement educational programmes, and develop related training materials that reinforce your communication messages and create maximum impact.

Pharmacy education

In addition to GP education we have also developed comprehensive training programmes for pharmacy and pharmacy assistants. One of our most recent examples was support the launch of the first non-prescription proton pump inhibitor in Australia. This launch was supported by:

  • Pharmacist launch evenings,
  • Practical training manuals,
  • Treatment algorithms,
  • CD-ROM,
  • Patient checklists,
  • GP referral system.
